Most of the rest of these will be from Southern California. The next 3 pics are of an ex-SCRTD/LACMTA 1981 RTS-04 that I found parked by the Amtrak station in San Diego during a visit in April 1996. The giveaway that it was ex-RTD/MTA was that the division sticker was still in the lower front windshield! (I messed up placing the pic on the scanner, that's why you see that grey at the bottom of the image!) :-/   Unfortunately, I have no way of finding out which number this bus had while at RTD/MTA. Obviously an early retiree, the commercial plate on the bus was issued in October, 1994, so it was retired from MTA sometime before that. Since it had a division 18 sticker, more than likely it was an 8200 or 8300, as those numbers were prevalent at D18. |
