From my perspective, the Q35 seems to be made for riders in the Rockaways who want to go a destination on or near Flatbush Avenue south of Nostrand Avenue, and the B41 seems to be made primarily to serve Flatbush Avenue south of Livingston Street, Downtown Brooklyn, and to a lesser extent, Bergen Beach. According to that, I think that the simple solution is to add more B41 runs. This way, everybody is happy, although some Rockaway riders who had used the former local stops would be inconvenienced. The problem now though is the availibility of buses to cover these runs. As for riders being stunned by this, assign workers at the Nostrand Avenue (or other stops too, just giving an example) to inform riders about the new changes and post signs up on buses, both which I'm sure are being done.Also, I think I am going to ride the Q35 soon. |
