Yeah, I believe someone told me that either Cortelyou or Claredon Road was originally an extension of an old farm road called Canarsie Lane (which still exists today, but only in a small section of Canarsie).It looks like a lot of Canarsie Lane is still effectively there in the E48 St - Kings Hwy gap. Damn the Atlantic Ocean - I want to have a look! |
