Whoever spec'd those MAN artics had to be on something. I know that AC Transit has never had an need for air conditioning, but tossing unopenable windows into the mix must have made them hell to ride on warm days, even moreso when the Bay Area had heat waves. I can only shudder to think how bad it was on the ill-fated RTS's AC Transit had that were gone after only a year.

Is it me, or did the Bay Area generally have VERY bad luck with ADB models. Between AC Transit's RTS's and Muni's Grumman 870's, plus the tax benefits California offered to Flyer and Gillig, it made for a much different bus scene then vs. the east coast (and even LA for that matter).
