New Jersey Transit is not yet done with refurbishment of the Nova Bs. However, only owned and operated units will be rehabilitated. IIRC, all Nova Bs at Newton Avenue and Washington Township have already been rehabbed.These buses will NOT be rehabilitated---unless they are transferred to New Jersey Transit Bus Operations: 1000-1131, 1138-1200, 1210-1247, 1253-1254, 1262-1263, 1270, 1507-1513, 1515-1533, 1535-1562*, 1565-1570, 1575-1576, 2537-2559, and 2569-2580. This is because these buses are either operated by contractors or are leased to private carriers. *I am not sure which 1560s are assigned to Egg Harbor Township. |
