The one thing I do want to know is why the attempt by the Queens private bus companies to acquire Fifth Avenue Coach Manhattan routes during the January 1962 strike fail? Fifth Avenue Coach Lines management was perfectly happy to keep Surface Transit routes but get rid of Fifth Avenue Coach Manhattan routes before Weinberg took over. |
