On Woodhaven Blvd, the bus lanes resulted in slower bus travel as the speed limits were lowered from 35 mph to 25 mph. Buses actually travelled at 35 mph. I once tried to pass a bus in my car and it took me one half mile till I was able to overtake that bus. With the bus lanes, car speeds have been cut in half and the buses also crawl. |
