I did not attend last year's event, since I wasn't in the City at the time..but I will attend this year's event. I've been going,off and on, over the years since the Transit Exhibit opened in 1976. R46s were brand new.. the place was exciting..we were given a tour by the staff, even given a play by play detailed description of the New Routes Program... particularly the 63rd st Tunnel, and Queens Bypass. He Was pretty excited about the lines for some reason.. Thanks for the recap, and I hope to see The MTA participation This year. |
