Such a corridor is doable, but I would look at the following issues:1) The Newark Bay Bridge is an operational variable. If I scheduled such a bus, I would have to put a 20-30 minute buffer on the Jersey City side. 2) NJ Transit would rather serve that market by connectivity if at all possible. A few more 67s via EWR would be easier than an all-new route. 3) Most of those folks are driving now and it is debatable whether they would ever switch back to NJT as long as they have free/low-cost parking at EWR. |
