Clearly, NYCTA maintenance practices were less than ideal in those days, and in their mind everything was the fault of Grumman. Funny how NYTransit bought 620 (of the 851 buses) and they did well for them. I hear the others (some in QCM, Cincinatti) and San Juan, PR also went on to serve many years. |
