Posted by W.B. on Tue Jan 10 05:58:15 2023, in response to Re: [PHOTOS] NYC Buses - Back In Time, posted by Snilcher on Mon Jan 9 14:35:59 2023. 1974, yep.Because there were two M15's under this scheme (TA's First and Second Avenues line and MaBSTOA's NYCO Division 23rd Street crosstown), the ex-FACCo Jackson Heights line became known as QM15 - which unwittingly duplicated the Green Bus Lines' Lindenwood-Manhattan express route. The Elmhurst crosstown, meanwhile, was now QM16 - which likewise was duplicative of GBL's Rockaway Park-Manhattan express route. |
