[PHOTOS] MSBA Oddities

Photo #1 - Luckily I had my camera bag with me when I caught this. The location is New Jersey. Any idea where ? (Dec 1985)

Photo #2 - Photographed by the late Gary Grahl at Roosevelt Field is this Baltimore MTA assigned to the N-45. Was this a test of the new Flixble's that MSBA would buy ?
I also heard that this type of bus was an advanced design body lowered onto a Flxible new look chassis. Is this true ? (June 23, 1984)

Photo #4 - EX-1000 was once a full length fishbowl shortened for light usage lines with narrow streets as I was told.
I heard it performed poorly in inclement weather being "all over the road".
Anyone know the original number ? (Lynbrook LIRR - N 14 route)
