Unfortunately the only way for get from one side of the N.E. Thruway to the other is either the Bartow Av underpass or the Conner St overpass.It would be difficult for bus service to get to the Baychester station using the Bartow underpass because the cross streets (on the western side of Bartow) are not wide enough for support regular bus service. A bus would have to use the Connor St overpass to Boston Rd, make a left then use Boston Rd to Baychester Av and make a left then go down to the station. |
