Queens Center is overrated as a terminus. Only local subway services, no 7 train, no LIRR, no direct connection to LGA (unless the Q72 gets rerouted). Just because there's a mall there and it's an enormous junction (mostly of traffic trying to get by, not stick around) doesn't mean that buses should terminate there.At the very least, if not Woodside, let the Q53 go over to meet up with the Q72 somewhere in Rego Park or, better, meet the 7 train at Junction Blvd or go further to LGA. Difficulty of course is that the Q53 is SBS and the Q72 isn't. |
