Interesting, but I do know that the super market was supposed to be a Bohack because there were signs there indicating it. I checked Bohack’s history and it mentioned that in the 1960s, Bohack took over several Daitch Shopwell locations. Well, there was one in Wash Hts not too far from the bus terminal and Bohack did not take that one over. It may have been that although Bohack lasted a few years after the terminal opened, It may have been on a downward spiral at that point and declined to acquire any new locations. For whatever reason, Bohack did not open at the GWB bus terminal nor did it acquire any sort of presence in Wash Hts. |
