Although I was very young when the FACCO double deckers were removed from service, I never really noticed any difference in dwell time between the double and single deckers. In any case, I can’t see any difference in dwell time between a double decker and an artic. The only problem I can foresee is that the hight of the overhead traffic signals in the city will probably have to be adjusted to clear the double deckers, a problem that didn't exist in the old FACCO days. |
