There's a problem with your pass/mile metric. I assume you based it on the Stringer report by dividing the number of passengers by the route length. You could also have developed a pass/stop metric.The problem is that the metric isn't showing how crowded the bus is likely to be. What's needed is to divide the daily count by the total daily mileage or stops. That would put things a per bus-mile or per bus-stop basis. |
