Yes they are all over the road to show you are exiting that road which is usually limited or restricted access. The small sign posted on the right said of Woodhaven Blvd saying exit only to 153 Avenue, should not have said "exit" either but just "153 Avenue".In Atlantic City it was a large overhead sign meant for highways not local streets. It is more important that the lane is the entrance to the Expressway than it is an exit from a local street which do not even have entrances and exits since you can get on and off at every block. That's why I think in this case the word entrance would have been more appropriate than exit. |
