The same situation happened to my wife,but on a greater scale.The SBS MVM not only refused to give here a proof of purchase slip,it also wiped out her MetroCard to a zero balance. She received a ticket,went to court,missing a day at work. Luckily,after the MTA actually did a True investigation, she was vindicated and received a new card with her balance restored. |
