Except that they would have had to pay liquidated damages (aka late fees) anyways, so the free buses are nothing in the context of the situation. Sounds strange, but that's how Orion usually did it. Extra buses equal to the value of liquidated damages and/or parts credits.To be honest liquidated damages probably affect everyone in the industry, just that Orion had a more visible way of dealing with it, if that makes sense. |
