I am not sold on this service. They are killing it the same way they "promoted" the Bx41 SBS+. In the Bx41, the last buses leave Gun Hill at 9 PM, and approx. 9:35-45 PM from the Hub. And they run 12 minute headways on weekends, pathetic.The B44 was designed to fail with the rerouting of northbound buses on Rogers Ave, forcing customers at Kings County/SUNY Downstate hospitals to walk up to half mile. There is not enough B44 local service and the B44 SBS does not travel the full Williamsburg/Sheepshead Bay route on many runs. I am going to take time out to do a full report on the Bx41 SBS one day by Christmas. |
