Just ask all the people who must rely on car services because of inadequate bus service. Does the subway station in your neighborhood have a dozen car services waiting outside the subway station? If they werent doing a good business they woudn't be there. See today's article probably around Noon.Dozens of legal and illegal cabs converge outside the 233, 238 and 241 street stops on the 2 line - - MTA bus routes do not head to Mount Vernon or Yonkers (Bee Line does) - - so this is not just an MTA issue but an issue regarding insufficent public transportation in certain areas, regardless of the carrier. |
