Yeah - When the '81 buses were still being delivered, I got 2294 one day on the old BX38 and I immediately knew the bus sounded different (and better). Then it took off and I realized that it was faster too. It was cool once I realized that 2281-2300 were "special". Someone (must've been an OA employee at KB) wrote the word "Turbo" next to the interior fleet number on 2281-2300. |
