I can remember when the north bound Bx55 ran on 3rd Avenue and the south bound BX55 would ran down onWashington Avenue. MaBSTOA also had a run on the BX55 that terminated at 161st Street-River Avenue Station. Thanks Joe! Great stuff. I miss the 3rd Avenue El, but I also miss the original equipment that was used to replace the El. The good old days are always a good thing to see and talk about, and as long as there are people who can remember the good old days, those days will never die! MWAP |
