I don't know where in the thread this was and I need to get off the computer, but I was at a Jewish wedding just outside Jerusalem today. There were some seats for those who needed them with an aisle in the middle. Seating was mixed (this was a very secular wedding). If family and friends were sitting/standing on different sides of the aisle per the supposed custom someone wrote about in this thread, I couldn't tell that it was happening. Just for the record... |
