The houses are called the Todt Hill Houses, but they are actually geographically in Castleton Corners, which is more middle class (the median income going a few blocks in all directions is slightly higher than the median SI income)Todt Hill proper is very wealthy, but that's further east (by the SI Academy like you said). East of Slosson can be considered the beginning of Todt Hill, and the wealth becomes more apparent as you go up the hill. I mean, you don't see huge fancy houses in the surrounding area. Maybe the projects caused the surrounding area to become less wealthy (though again, it's not a poor area by any means). |
