As I've said before, the MTA, a state agency, is not going to subsidize a service that not only costs the state money, but directly removes tax revenue from the state. Local businesses, even the SI Mall's ownership, would protest such a route, as it would result in a direct decline in business at their shops. It's not the same thing as the 89. |
