Great photographs and information. Looking at Curitiba and knowing they transport about 85% of the population, it makes you wonder if we're doing the right think by throwing millions of dollars into streetcar lines and LRT. Some of the recent LRT lines (Pheonix and Houston come to mind) travel at such a slow pace as they basically run "in the street" but in their own ROW. |
