Posted by MCI GUY on Tue Nov 9 14:56:02 2010, in response to Re: MaBSTOA/NYCTA Flxible Roster in the Early 90s, posted by Hank Eisenstein on Tue Nov 9 13:30:04 2010. yes that happened in nov.1992. the first orion 93002 arrived ay yukon in may 1993. those buses remained at yukon until 1999 when we received the mci buses. they went to casey stengel where they remained until quite recently. they lasted at least 15 years if not longer and were the best buses orion built. as a sidenote the bus driver involved in that incident passed away last year after spending several years at a nursing home. he suffered a stroke after the incident and never recovered. |
