If the B78 ran today they would need to change the southbound routing from 91st Avenue to 90th Avenue since 91st Avenue went from two way to one way eastbound. The MTA would have probably renumbered the route the Q78 since the route serves Ozone Park and Woodhaven Queens. I could have used a route like that when I lived in Ozone Park. Instead to get from 78th Street/Liberty Avenue to to Jamaica Avenue/80th Street I would have to take two buses and to walk to the B13 route at Crescent Street/Liberty Avenue and take the B13 route to Crescent street/Jamaica Avenue and transfer to the eastbound Q56 route toward 80th Street. |
