I'm so glad that SEPTA is sticking with these fare boxes for their Smart Card upgrade. I hate the new GFI boxes with a passion. I'll never forget how one of them stole my dollar bill as I attempted to buy a daypass on a WMATA bus. Additionally, sliding a pass through the slot is ridiculously inconvenient on those systems that haven't changed to the tap card yet. |
