I went to visit UC Berkeley during my first visit to the Bay Area in August 1988, and I saw one there. At that time, I think the only other agency in California that had Neoplans was SCRTD. ACT had a very varied fleet in 1988--GM and Flxible New Looks, the Neoplans, M-A-N artics, (Old) Flyer D901s and (I think) some early Gillig Phantoms. Too bad that these days they have bitten with the Van Fool bug :( |
