I know which RTS you are referring to, no that wasn't Academy's at any point.

Academy's first RTS was from the Detroit DOT

Then they had this one which is ex-DDOT/SEMTA

Followed by this jewel, which was Academy's first bus purchased from the NYCTA

Later on down the line, Academy purchased a bunch RTS's from the NYCTA, and put them in line service in 1999 when Academy took over the Red Apple New York-Hoboken bus line. These buses even saw occasional 22 Hillside Line service.

Academy also had 35-foot buses that came from Hertz or other small properties that were used Primarily in Airport Service until the GMC RTS's that were purchased from New York were pushed off the 22 Hillside and New York-Hoboken lines into Airport Service

The also had a 7 or 8 narrow-bodied GMC RTSs that came from a property in Texas, all but 1 was used in a Continental Express Airport contract, that 1 (Bus #67) could be seen operating the 22 Hillside or the NY-HOB Line.

Sorry for the pic quality, some of these are old prints or digitals when I was still trying to figure shit out, lol!
