I don't think the MTA can just transfer these over to a NYCT depot.different companies/management may operate it, but its under the same entity, MTA. when MTA ( Los Angeles ) gave away lines to Private Companies in the late 90s/early 2000s, some of the LACMTA-Owned equipment went along with it, including some 1983/'84 Neoplan AN440As. Some of those eventually came back from the Privates to LACMTA before they were retired. |
