Many of those scum actually prefer to stay in prison, and that's why many of them continue to get into trouble. They usually have trouble getting or holding jobs, which in turn makes it hard for them to have money to pay for meals and rent. Prison life provides them with shelter, 3 square meals a day, and they get to "mingle" with others they have a lot in common with. |
