LIB hasn't done away with the bar. 1700 came with a bar. My condolences go out to Edwin Thomas's Family may he rest in peace. It's very sad an unfortunate that this happened but this incident proves that being a bus operator in NYC is far from a safe or easy job. The cops get 70K a year now the fire fighters get 76K. Somewhere very close or in between those figures would be fare when it's time for a new contact. Also I think the rules for defending yourself against a farebeaters/unruly customers should be ADJUSTED. Sorry to change the subject once again R.I.P Edwin Thomas. |
