I'm glad to see on the MTA website NYCT section that they have an in memoriam section dedicated to the operator and noting Operator Schields Didn't know Schields was also from Flatbush Depot as wellI must say although angered the MTA has come along way in holding a press conference and I am glad Mayor Bloomberg made a Statement of Sympathy it shows that people care and it's ironic that there is a station house on gates and ralph 2 blocks down |
