You know what, I could really say what I truly feel right now but I think at this time...we ALL (bus fans, bus operators and other transit friends on this site) need to come together for a prayer. Please bow your heads (or just read):Friends, Today we celebrate the life of this bus operator. None of us (as far as I know) know him but we will certainly remember him as a bus operator who was dedicated to his job. Who stood up and not give up a transfer to someone who thought could "Beat The System". I salute the late bus operator. He's a hero in my book! I would like to extend my heart-felt condolescenes to the family, friends and the fellow bus operators, supervisors, mechanics, etc. at the Flatbush Bus Depot. Who now have to come to work knowing that one of their own...a bus operator...a fellow co-worker...and most importantly...a friend will no longer be there. However, he will ALWAYS be with you all. He'll just be watching you all from above. Amen. I'm sorry if this prayer was offensive to some of you but I just had to do that. My prayers are with the family at this time. |
