Good comment here. If one can, perhaps they can try to handle the reload business while not too many people are on the bus---to the point where it's just you by yourself (you being either the 1st or last person on the bus? Don't know if that'll help but if you try to do so before too many people board (if you're on there first), then you should be fine. Also, PLEASE do NOT carry too much money with ya and have it in your hand for the world to see. Only carry enough to reload the Q Card that'll last you through the day (or week)---depending on how much you'll ride during---either during the day or during the week.

Nah, I don't see any reason for being paranoid about reloading your card on the bus. It's no secret that most people who ride buses have at least a few bucks on them, and some credit cards. What difference does it make if you pull out the few bucks or a credit card to reload a Q Card, or if you leave them in your pocket the entire bus ride? You could be robbed either way. Showing a credit card or a few bucks is not going to convince someone to rob you who otherwise wouldn't. He know everyone already has those items in their pocket. If he wants to rob you, he'll do it no matter what.
