(Sorry I didn't respond earlier).Here's my comments: 2. What route was 6092 running? The Blue Line? 4. Although riding on some of them may be a different story, I will miss seeing Tempe 40-LFWs and 35-LFWs on North Central Avenue and in Northwest Phoenix. It was always odd to see them so far away from their "normal" territory and added some diversity on weekends to the usual Phoenix fleet. (Of course it was best when they ran on weekdays as well, but that didn't fare too well with Phoenix rush hour riders when they were packed into a 35-LFW) 12. I rode 6254 on the Red Line a few weeks ago. That bus is pretty well-worn, especially compared to 6246-6253, which are in great shape. The destination sign reading is odd, however in the fact that it has a lowercase route name and an uppercase destination. 16-17. Nice catch of the 45C-LFW on a Saturday! I would assume that it was doing training, although it would be great to see it in service (I saw a 45C-LFW in LOCAL service twice on route 56 back in 2005, I may have also seen some on the 45, and a driver told me that they ran them on the Red Line once). |
